Woah woah woah, so what’s with the title? Well, if you have ever heard of Chick-Fil-A, you may also have heard of their amazing nuggets, sandwiches, and cookies and cream shakes. What if you were craving some of these amazingly tasting listed items while arriving / leaving from the airport in Buffalo New York? Well now you can’t. Why? Because Chick-Fil-A and the Buffalo Niagara International Airport are in a disagreement. Now, in today’s post, we will not be talking about whether the airport is right politically speaking. But what we will be mentioning is if Chick-Fil-A is doing the right ethical choices behind this dilemmas.
So, just in case you do not know, Chick-Fil-A is sort of blatantly known for being a Christian Organization. They are closed on Sundays, incorporate biblical scripture in their business structure, serve God-like Meals, etc. They’re even closed on Super Bowl Sunday. Imagine how many football fanatics would love some Chick on the day of the super bowl. Well, guess what, Chick-Fil-A is practicing great morale and core company values with all this. They are standing for something that the executive members and CEO believes in. I think every brand should stand for something. If you do not stand for something, you could fall for anything that comes your way. Chick-Fil-A would literally rather stick to their core values than probably make over a Million if they were open nationwide on the Super Bowl. So if something resonates with you as a business owner, you should stand by that by all means, no matter what financial profitability you may have to sacrifice for your integrity. Stick to your roots, be true to yourself, it’s better than being fake just to get more money and now a days, that type of stuff resonates with people. Consumers can sense a genuine movement and they are getting smarter and smarter everyday.
